my newest obsession stems from my recent trip to new york where my best friend emily and i got lost in watching a season of a british shows called skins. the show follows the lives of a group of friends through their sex, drugs, death, violence and other assorted ridiculous exploits. The first two seasons were the "original cast" if you will and season 3 (hence my reason for this post) is addicting.
one of the main characters, who is the younger sister of someone in the original cast, is basically the brits answer to willa holland. she's gorgeous, has this coked out-rocker chic style, and could melt your heart with her eyes. Her character's name is Effy (Elizabeth Stonem) and she's played by actress Kaya Scodelario. Effy has more sex and does more drugs than almost any other character on the show, bringing new meaning to the phrase hot mess or beautiful disaster.
i took the following screen shots from her episode (since usually each episode has a focus on one character) which is also the 8th episode in the season. totally screwed up and totally amazing.
